Can you relate...?!
Being a woman in mid life can feel like an endless balancing act - juggling career pressures, family responsibilities, shifting hormones, and the expectations of modern life - all while trying to find a sliver of time for yourself amidst the overwhelm.
If the answer is ‘Yes!’, this could be for you!
Who is this for?
This programme is for women in Mid Sussex experiencing overwhelm / perimenopause / menopause who would benefit from weekly sessions of restorative ‘me time’ with like-minded people in a peaceful, natural setting.
What's involved?
Facilitated by qualified and experienced nature-based wellbeing practitioners, activities will include
- seasonal conservation activities
- fire building
- whittling and green woodwork
- nature art and crafts
- mindfulness
- wildlife observation
- nature walks
It's not rocket science, but it is science
The National Academy For Social Prescribing’s 2022 Evidence Briefing confirms that time spent in nature is linked to a range of positive mental and physical health outcomes including:
- Reduced blood pressure, reduced stress levels and associated symptoms, lower levels of cardiovascular and respiratory problems, and reduced risk of diabetes, obesity, and COVID.
- Increased wellbeing, including subjective wellbeing, reduced social isolation, increased happiness, and resilience.
